<description>Interesting post. Maybe the notion that the Church has an immediate answer to every question feeds this feeling your subject seems to be experiencing although you don&#039;t say which denomination she belongs too. But her experience is not unlike that of many LDS people. I am not aware of any legitimate Church authority who suggests the Church has all the answers. Even Joseph had to go to the Lord regularly in problem solving. Some of our most compelling doctrines were only revealed after petitioning God. I suppose one could say that we are in a learning environment and that even upon receiving our Bachelors degree we only know where to go to find answers. The sheepskin does not come with an automatic encyclopedic mind chock full of responses to all the doubts and questions raised by living. I have to think that we learn best by doing. We are placed in an environment where we need to know new things to progress and need is the mother of invention. The Gospel just provides the tools to discover for ourselves.
